Reconnecting people to thesoil that feeds us all.

SOIL networks regenerative farms with the chefs, institutional food programs, and secondary producers that want to source from them — and channels funding back to the farmers restoring the land.

Our Mission

The bridge between the farms that heal our land and the communities that need them.

SOIL was founded in 2026 to solve a simple but critical disconnect: regenerative farmers are doing the hardest, most important work on earth — restoring soil health, sequestering carbon, producing nutrient-dense food — but they lack access to the markets, funding, and visibility needed to scale. Meanwhile, chefs, institutional food programs, and secondary producers want to source regeneratively but don't know where to start.

We are the connective tissue. We network regenerative farms, connect them to high-resource communities, and channel funding back to farmers transitioning to regenerative practices. The overwhelming majority of climate funding flows to energy and transport; only about 4% reaches agriculture — the sector with the greatest potential for soil-based carbon sequestration. We're here to change that ratio.

Vision

A world where regenerative agriculture is the norm, not the exception.

Mission

Connect regenerative farms to chefs, institutional food programs, and secondary producers while funding the transition for conventional farmers.

Strategy

Build demand first — bring farms more business through high-visibility events, then use that proof of concept to unlock serious funding for farmer transitions.

Why Soil?

Everything starts beneath our feet.

While carbon capture, renewable energy, and electric vehicles dominate the climate conversation, the single most powerful tool for reversing climate change has been under our boots the whole time.

Healthy soil holds more carbon than the atmosphere and all plant life combined. Regenerative farming practices can draw down atmospheric CO₂ at scale — but only if farmers can afford to transition.
Nearly all climate investment flows elsewhere. Agriculture — which represents the greatest opportunity for carbon drawdown — gets just ~4%. SOIL exists to redirect resources where they matter most.
Soil health directly determines nutrient density. A 2022 study found regeneratively grown produce contains significantly higher levels of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. Better soil = better food = healthier people.
The 3–7 year transition period from conventional to regenerative farming is financially devastating. Farmers lose income while soil recovers. SOIL bridges that gap with market access and micro-grants.
A single Burning Man feeds ~80,000 people for a week. Climate Week NYC attracts global leaders. Every chef, every institutional food program, every secondary producer is a potential regenerative buyer — they just need the connection.
How It Works

The SOIL cycle.

Demand first, then funding, then regeneration — a self-reinforcing loop that grows the network with every turn.

THE SOIL CYCLE every turn grows the network 1 Farms 2 SOIL Network 3 Chefs Institutional Food Programs Secondary Producers 4 Revenue to Farms 5 More Farms Transition 6 Healthier Soil
